A Weekend Retreat with Bonnie Morrissey and Paula Sager
The Discipline of Authentic Movement offers a bridge between the physicality of our moving bodies and the receptivity of our attention. We begin where we are, opening to the wisdom of the body, following a felt sense of our own emerging experience.
Being seen, seeing oneself, seeing another—we move closer to our true embodied nature through the development of the inner witness.
Tracking our own experience in the presence of a collective body of movers and witnesses, we come to know the workings of our own mind, including projections and associations that obscure clear seeing. The maturing of witness consciousness deepens empathic resonance and supports greater capacity for insight and compassion.
